Being ‘naturally thin’ I was told by many people that I didn’t need to go to the gym and was asked why I did a challenge.
Long story short I was unfit, had a mega sugar addiction and was mentally drained from being an over thinker.
To say I was nervous to step into a gym is an understatement. But from the moment I walked in to XO I was made to feel like I belonged. The coaches have nurtured me and spent lots of time showing me correct technique which is of upmost importance to me. They have guided me back after a 12 month injury and scaled work outs so I could come to classes.
Nothing you need is ever too hard, XO caters for everyone. The enthusiasm and encouragement is beyond words and keeps you wanting to come back for more (even after a gruelling workout).
This place isn’t just about fitness, it’s about creating a healthy lifestyle that you can easily continue after a challenge. The squat one is to show where my squat was during injury to post injury. In class I have even been able to add weights which I was told I would not be able to do.
